During their time in the Graphic Design and Print Communications Program,
the students take several tours of printing companies to learn more about
the industry and the work environment that they will be going into after graduation.

Below are some photos of just a couple of tours the class went on as a group.

Pearson

Above are some photos taken on the class tour of a printing company, Pearson, located in Owattona, MN. Pearson produces
different scannable documents for tests, like the ACT or the State Assement tests. They have one hundred
and fifty full time employees and fifty to sixty temporary employees.

Above are some photos of Thomson Reuters, located in Eagan, MN. They produce law books, newsletters, textbooks,
among others. Thomson Reuters has eight hundred and fifty emloyeees working in manufacturing, and is the
US's largest producer of conventional press plates.
