| 2008’s competition was even better then the last, with a great turn out and stiff competition.The event was held to give high school students a chance to look into a career in Graphic Design & Print Communications as well as compete against their peers and other high schools in different categories of design and print. Industry representatives were also involved, they set up presentations in some of the class rooms giving students an idea of different job opportunities within the industry. Throughout these activities there was over $2,000 in prizes awarded to about 175 students from the 15 high schools that attended the competition. |
